Purchasing Manager
To competently organize and execute the Company’s purchasing function. Company is an established manufacturer and fabricator of a variety of rubber & plastics products. The purchasing manager will:
- Work with senior management to develop purchasing strategies and parameters, and then implement them
- Seek reliable vendors or suppliers to provide quality goods at reasonable prices
- Negotiate prices and contracts
- Review technical specifications for raw materials and components
- Determine quantity and timing of deliveries
- Help manage inventories
- Supervise others in this group
Candidates should have formal education or other relevant credentials in this area, and at least 3 years experience is a senior purchasing role. Candidates should also be familiar with computers, and computer Software such as Microsoft, Excel, Word, and Outlook, and business operating software, which the Company (and Purchasing) utilizes.

CNC Machinist and Programmer
Program, Set Up, and Operate CNC Equipment (3 axis) -CNC Lathe; Router; VMC.
Qualifications – appropriate education and preferably at least 5 years experience.
Must be educated regarding:
- “G” Code CNC programming
- CAD/CAM Mastercam programming or similar software.
- Machining and tooling
This position is in a shop (semi-custom) with regular new projects using plastics, rubber and metals, and therefore of interest to those interested in variety in their work and continuous learning.

Prince – Baton Rouge
Shipping & Receiving Associate
Company is an established manufacturer with domestic and international customers.
Job Description:
- Receiving: receive & verify & distribute incoming shipments.
- Shipping: Pick, or receive from other departments, goods to be shipped. Verify & prepare (protect, package and/or crate, weigh) outgoing goods, using shipping schedule and liaison with Inside sales Dept.
- Assemble (sometimes design) wooden or carboard containers/skids/crates as required.
- Arrange outgoing shipments with carriers, prepare Bills of Lading and all paperwork for domestic & international shipments, Shippers Letter of Instruction (Int’l), Commercial Invoices (Int’l), USMCA, Cert. of Origin, etc.
- Update company records re receiving shipping via computer inputs on company software.
- Operate equipment such as fork lift truck, pallet jacks, and wheeled carts, to unload, load and place material in inventory.
- Perform cycle counts of inventory regularly as directed.
- Evaluate and help negotiate common carrier services.
- Organize inventory and pull inventory for work orders.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Receiving, stocking and stacking.
- Pulling, packing, and loading.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong sense of time organization and urgency.
- Able to work independently and within a team.
- Build and repair small crates and skids.
Education, Experience: High school diploma, GED or equivalent. 6 months logistics experience
